You do not need an account to use GameChilly. When you visit, our servers and infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare) automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and time of visit. We use this data to run the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.

When you use the Steam value tool, the Steam ID or link you enter appears in the page address, and we read your public game list and playtime from Steam to calculate the result. This data is only kept temporarily for a few minutes and isn't saved to a database.

When a page hits a technical error, we record error details (the page and the error message) to fix it. Error logs are not intended to contain personal information; sensitive parameters are masked before storage.

The “Your PC” feature stores the graphics card and RAM you choose in your browser's storage (localStorage) on your own device, to compare with game requirements. It is not sent to our servers unless you turn on the “My PC can run it” filter or open the “Can I run it?” page: the card's performance score and RAM then appear in the page address so we can load matching results.

You can delete it at any time with “Forget saved PC” or by clearing site data in your browser settings.

GameChilly does not use cookies to track you. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregated visit statistics (pages viewed, referrers, country and load speed); this tool does not set cookies. If we start using advertising or analytics that rely on cookies, this policy will be updated before that happens. The only cookie GameChilly sets is gc_region, which remembers the price region you pick so we can show the right prices. It is not used for tracking.

GameChilly may show third-party ads, including from Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices. Learn how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Some store links on GameChilly are affiliate links. When you click and buy, the store may use its own cookies to attribute the purchase to GameChilly and we may earn a commission. You pay nothing extra.

GameChilly links to external sites such as Steam and publishers' pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for how they handle data.

When you submit the contact form, we store your name, message and email (if you enter one) so we can read and reply. To fight spam we also store a hash of your IP address (not the IP itself) for up to 30 days, and may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check your browser on the form. You can ask us to delete a message you sent by contacting us.

We do not sell personal information. Technical data is processed only by infrastructure providers acting on our behalf (hosting, content delivery network), or when required by law.

Technical data and error logs are kept only as long as needed for operation, security and debugging, then deleted or anonymized.

GameChilly is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You can contact us to ask about data related to you or request deletion, to the extent we can identify it. Data stored in your browser is fully under your control.

We may update this policy when the site gains new features or regulations change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
