Notas del parche y actualizaciones de TaleSpire

Player Inventory Spotlight

We accidentally shipped this in a previous release, but they deserve a little attention! Players now have access to an inventory bar just like GMs do. Currently, they can only store dice rolls there, but we will be expanding what else can go in inventories going forward.

Release: Search by creator & Symbiote dev improvements

In this release, we've added the ability to search community creations by creator. Simply type a creator's name, click the little "Search for creators" button, and the filter will be added. You can then search by tag and name within that creator's works.

Scheduling TaleSpire downtime for maintenance, October 20th

TaleSpire will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours starting October 20 at 8:00 AM UTC. Please plan sessions accordingly.

For weeks, nothing had left the Bouncyrock caves. The earth lay fallow, the animals were listless, the people. Troubled. But then, far below, a rumble. It was subtle, but clearly the machine within was stirring.

To help those who have had issues connecting due to failed DNS lookups, we have added a fallback that TaleSpire tries automatically if the normal approach fails. We hope that this fixes a few more cases where folks were stuck with the spinning hourglass at login.

Bug-fix Pick-A-Mix!

We are back with a bunch of random bits and bobs. In this release we have: Updated the copyright year in the main menu Fixed a super annoying bug where the Party-GM was not reassigned correctly in a bunch of cases (often around people leaving and rejoining the board) Added a…

Assorted bug fixes

Last week, we went on a little bug-fixing run so for this release we have: fixed the fire ambiance audio fixed multiple instabilities in the vision limit system.

We've fixed the physics bugs that were reported after the last release attempt, so we are back to give this another go! Please let us know if things act funky, but otherwise, enjoy!

Hello all! We've investigated the reports you've sent us since the physics release yesterday and are reverting the physics changes while we work on fixing the underlying issue. We're very sorry for the inconvenience and thank you all for the reports!

Alas, a couple of bugs made it through both our testing and the public beta week. This patch fixes a crash related to dice use (most visibly, switching boards with lots of dice in play) We'll be back with another patch for a non-crash issue with morphs soon.

Physics improvements leave Beta & TaleWeaverCmd ships

Heya folks! Today, the Physics and Batching improvements leave Beta, delivering some performance improvements and paving the way for many more. More visibly however, we have three fixes and a new tool!

Feature Release - Community Creature Emissive Support

Today we release an update for TaleWeaverLite (our custom creature creation tool) to support emissive on creatures. This utilizes the until now unused Blue channel of the Metallic/Ambient Occlusion/Smoothness texture to make your minis really pop!

This is another beta improving things behind the scenes. The technical details are that this beta improves how we build batches of stuff for the GPU to draw, and also how we run the physics.
