Dear Players, Today we’re releasing another SimRail update, and this time the BR285 takes centre stage. We’ve gone through your feedback on the DLC, and we want to thank you for all your reviews, especially the constructive criticism. We’re sorry for the issues you’ve run into.
SimRail Update 30.09.2026: the free Kutno - Łowicz route is here!
You asked for it, so we built it. The 45 km section between Kutno and Łowicz is now part of the Łódź North Region DLC, and every owner of the DLC gets it at no extra cost. It closes the gap in the network and lets you run across the whole region without a break.
SimRail goes diesel! BR 285 DLC releases September 30
Dear RailFans, On September 30, the SimRail: BR 285 DLC pulls into the station, and with it comes something SimRail has never had before: a diesel locomotive. Until now, every locomotive in SimRail has depended on the overhead line. The BR 285 changes that.
