Ghillie Wars patch notes & updates

4.2.3 is public on Steam: default branch, build 26025051. Finish your current match, then update and restart before joining.

Build 26017882 is live on Steam's default branch. Earn rifle attachments at levels 3–21 and new field gear at levels 40–75.

Getting eliminated no longer means sitting out with nothing to do. Practice against moving targets in your own waiting range while the match continues, or choose to spectate. You return to the game when the next round begins.

Tester charm models, Steam reward support and more bounty groundwork. Please help check your rewards and saved progress; tournaments and trading are still in development.

Ghillie Wars 4.0.9 — the lush grass update

The lush grass update adds thicker ground cover, repairs reported foliage zoom changes and adds a bullseye cursor. Update to 4.0.9 and help us test performance.

A thank-you for our beta testers, and the next Playtest

The original closed-beta crew will receive a Founding Scout tag. Testing will move to Ghillie Wars Playtest after approval and launch checks. Keep using the beta for now.

Ghillie Wars is moving back two weeks

I'm taking two more weeks to fix the issues found in testing and finish anti-cheat testing. October 16 is the goal, and beta testing continues.

An update on the October 2 launch

October 2 is still the target, but I can't confirm it while the build review is pending. I'll keep you posted here.
