HOPE 01 patch notes & updates

Added flat chance for some specific looting based quest items for Kio so hopefully you won't have to toil in the loot mines. Fixed a rare potential lock for starting a new game that isn't new game plus.

Woo! The engine is fixed! So lets try this again! Also I added some steam trading cards and emoticons for the game! Added An Early version of New Game Plus to test and feel out what form it should take for 1.0. What does it do?

Found something seems to be wrong with extracting, and I think it's because the engine updated recently...? Anyways reverted back to the old build and I'll look into it! In the off chance your save is messed up, please post here or anywhere and I'll do my best to fix it for you!

Ahhh Huge Bug related to engine update, reverted back to older build. In the off chance your save is messed up, please post anywhere and I'll do my best to fix it for you! Added An Early version of New Game Plus to test and feel out what form it should take for 1.0.

After attempting some more QoL that has eluded me previously and likely to do so again, I'll be officially beginning 1.0 Development! (although I guess I've been doing some spriting for the new NPCs) I'll still fix anything big that comes up though!

HOPE 01 - Roadmap

I typed a wall of text that no one probably wants to read!

Reworked the Aqua-tek Boss's logic to make the platforms be more consistent on repeat runs. Made the Raid UI move if you go into your inventory so it doesn't block the console screen. Fixed a quest you could infinitely get luxury fabricks from. Fixed Few Visual Bugs.

There were totally bugs. Fixed being able to shift click items on the ground, making them pin to the top left of the screen. Below is the old patch note since this was a quick fix! ------------------------------------------------------------------ I finally figured it out! Wooo!

I finally figured it out! Wooo! My brain definitely got bruised up a bit but I finally got it to work! HOPEFULLY THERE ISN'T TOO MANY BUGS! Added Item Quick Move while near the stash! Shift Click for Mouse and Keyboard or Double Tap A for Controller!

Made it harder to accidentally start a new game on the controller by pressing A. Fixed the default option on pressing A to be cancel instead of proceed.

Emergency Buff to the Epoch because it's getting absolutely bodied in the survey. Added a short delay before enemies aggro from gun shots. Added more Spray Paint Options and you can use scroll wheel to swap between the options quicker with M&KB.

Fixed being able to recycle things while using them, effectively starving the cycler, leading cause of cycler malnutrition. Fixed the fabricator UI being stuck on screen if you ran away from the raid console with precisely 0.

Fixed One-Raid Quests not resetting upon death, only on successful raid extracts. Fixed Topor's impact sound effects being extra loud in shotgun alternate fire. Fixed some Environmental Visual Bugs Buffed HAB 01's Loot Quality.

Ahhh I'm sorry for updating so much but when I find a bug that might cause some locking issues I feel like I have to patch it quick as I can! Fixed another potentially softlock scenario. Fixed the grabber arms not cleaning up properly, causing some lingering debuff issues.

Added something to teleport you back above the water if you get stuck under the hideout for some reason. Reverting a change that's killing bosses on accident, causing weird bugs! Fixed a specific Bosses lootspawn to prevent a tragic item stuck in the ceiling, taunting you.

Fixed some potential major regressions from the previous patches! Fixed Megashroom sometimes not spawning. Fixed a certain reward: grass cake to properly spawn after potentially losing it before being able to be scanned. Fixed some unintended dialogues.

Changed some logic to lessen the occasional death trap scenarios for elevators and treadmills. Fixed NPC Questlogs disappearing in rare instances behind the screen. Fixed Quickloader and Superloader from occasionally generating an extra ammo from nowhere.

Added the ability to change the color of your spray paint Fixed drones having trouble targeting mushroom enemies. Fixed a state bug where items will retain states, sometimes causing them dropped items stay between raids or being able to reload from ammo from stash or as a way of

Actually Turned on the fixes for the Processor Drone from previous patch note. More Fixes to certain boss arenas not resetting properly if you die during it. Made Reloading Gadgets outside of a Raid quicker. Fixed UI Health Indicator not updating when certain conditions are met.

Fixed the Processor Drones to correctly target large enemies/bosses. Oops, I actually forgot to turn on something before uploading the build so this fix isn't actually in yet >.

Fixed Shotgun Combat Drone from using 2 instead of 1 per shot. Fixed Attack Drones being unable to target LARGE enemies like bosses sometimes. Fixed Orange Goop from being able to goop while jumping.

Fixed an infinite loot bug with containers Fixed Achievement Bug with helping Dr.D. You SHOULD receive an achievement for it when you load in if you helped him.

You can now cancel going into a raid during the countdown by moving away from the terminal. Added Visual Armor Durability for Hard-o-hearin' Hopes out there.

Food Sickness Incoming You can now certain stack food together, even though it's obviously unhygienic practice! Go ahead and pour that oj into the other bottle!

Fixed Ability to stack infinite items on top of each other using a combination of controller and mouse & keyboard controls Fixed the Hab 37 Key disappearing if leaving the dialogue area before triggering the next dialogue, leaving the door still locked Fixed Some Boss Music

Apparently no one wants to keep talking my cute slime over and over to slorp the fabricks, so now it will cut to the slorping.

Fixed getting stuck inside the medical boss room if you defeated it, left the room, then immediately went back inside. Added Loudness to Lance's Melee Ability. Now it should aggro enemies, like it probably should.

Fixed Controller Players from being able to have drones working from the safety of the stash! Also probably have as many of them running as they wanted at the same time.

Slightly Nerfed the Boss in Hospitek. Fixed some quest items being able to stack on each other, giving one more charges and vice versa. Fixed a world boss from being able to spawn multiple at once in occasions. (Possibly) Fixed those same quest items spawning in at a weird angle?

I accidentally deleted some logic off the bosses in the entertainment district, making them spawn forever and be an impossible fight. Should be fixed now! I also made the change so if the train leaves before your extraction wait time is up, it will still take you and extract you!

You can now talk to the cycler and it will give you an option to slorp up all the fabricks on the ground after you pampered it. Uh hopefully there's no bugs >.> I changed the icons for all the fabricks to let colorblind players to be able to distinguish them easier.

Fixed (Probably) a rare bug where the grabber slime's "grabbed" state could linger on you, preventing you from opening doors, or regenerating stamina.

Fixed Some Bosses's arenas not resetting properly on death. Applied a potential fix to gadgets/usable items disappearing on extract. If you had this happen to you in the past, see if it happens again!

Fixed a hardlock bug that happens when certain rare conditions are met while using the abandon raid feature. Also fixed some typos and updated the target painter luxury gadget to cost and recycle into some luxury fabricks.

I edited the wrong sprite on the settings menu when I added the colorblind option. The top audio option should now correctly read "Sound Effects" instead of "Color Blind"

Fixed a rare major bug where triggering an NPC before having done a specific boss fight, caused the dialogue to soft-lock and the boss to not trigger.

Fixed the player's dodge roll being stationary when aiming a weapon and dodging using one-button dodge setting! Oops!
