Shake it Co! patch notes & updates

Hey, we keep a close eye on the bug reports you post in the Discussions. Over the past while, messages from a lot of different people there made us decide to update a few things in the game. What changed Catching the Lake King and the Prism Trout is now a bit easier.

The Mac Update

Hey! Shake it Co! is now on Mac. There is plenty for everyone else too: a Journal that tracks everything you can finish, a fisher who sells the weather, and a frenzy for the lake. Mac: Shake it Co! now runs on macOS 12 or later, on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Hey! Steam Cloud is here. Your gardens now follow you from one computer to the next. Steam Cloud: Your gardens are now saved to Steam Cloud. Play on your PC, then pick up right where you left off on your laptop or Steam Deck. There is nothing to set up.

Hey! Another small update. Combo: The extra lives from Thick Skin now save you from a press on red too. They used to cover only a lap you let pass, so one tap on red lost the pile with every heart still full. The ring now tells you DON'T STOP SHAKING! while it runs.

Hey! A small update this time, mostly for those of you who play together. Co-op: You can now watch a friend's combo ring without holding the tree. The shake fight has a brand new HUD.

The Fishing Update

Hey! Fishing is finally here. We promised it back at launch, so it was about time. Branchy also got some tiny helpers, the casino got chips and a cat, and a lot of screens got a new look. Fishing: From day 3, a fisherwoman waits under the big tree on the right every morning.

Hey! A lot happened in the garden this time: a wizard has moved in for the nights, and the tree has started growing treasure chests. We also kinda brake the economy in the last big update so in this one we rebalanced the economy so the game lasts longer.

Seasons & Weather Update

Hey! This time the garden gets seasons and weather, and we worked through a long list of the bugs you sent us. New: Seasons. Every month is a season now: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Weather.

Hey! This time we added something new to the game, and we fixed the big selling bug you reported. The tree now grows a rainbow fruit every once in a while. It shows up on the meter above the tree before it even drops, so you know it is coming.

Hey! This time we did a big clean-up under the hood, and we have been at it non-stop for a while now. The way fruit and coins work on the ground has been rewritten from scratch. Here is what that means for you in game: That little freeze when a big combo goes off is gone.

Hey! A small but useful update. Added: New players now get a silent tutorial. No window, no pause, no text, just a button glyph and an arrow. And it doesn't show up the moment you start playing, only when you get stuck: do the thing yourself and it never appears at all.

Hey, we have news! There's a calendar in the game now, and a lot of fixes. Added: Added a calendar to the game. Press K (D-pad left on controller) and you can see the whole month ahead of you.

Chinese translation fix!
