Swarmvore patch notes & updates

Update 1.2.0: Endless Descent, a New Interface and a Juicier Swarm

A new endless mode after Depth 10, a fully redesigned interface, juicier combat, rebalanced mutations and a big gene damage fix.

Thanks for reporting the pulsing background hum. This patch removes that continuous sound and gives you more control over the game's audio. Removed the pulsing ambient hum that continued during runs even with music turned off.

This patch fixes an issue that could prevent the achievement for maxing out all Lab upgrades from unlocking. • The achievement is now checked immediately after purchasing the final upgrade.

Brood reserves now stack correctly, Artillery drones remain visible, the final cell milestone is 20M, and all three optional challenges have revised rules.

Fixed an issue where cells devoured by the title-screen swarm counted toward milestone progress. Only cells devoured during gameplay now contribute. Increased Frenzy's duration from 3 to 6 seconds. Its movement speed bonus remains +20%. Existing saved progress is preserved.

Removed the moving “Rally here” popup to keep the combat view clear. You can still right-click a structure to focus your swarm on it.

is here. This update expands how you build your swarm and brings a revised campaign from depth 0 through depth 10. - Unlock six genes and equip up to two to create new combinations.

Swarmvore 1.1: Evolutions

Evolutions brings six mix-and-match genes, six powers, revised encounters, a defined campaign ending, and more control over your swarm.

Fixes for early Essence rewards and boss health bars, lower upgrade costs, stronger defenses, and clearer rewards. No more bonus for ending a run early.

Almost everything in this update came from the Steam discussions. I was not being notified of new threads here and only found out a few days ago, so some of you had been waiting a while. Sorry about that, and thank you for reporting these.

A handful of fixes, most of them around the final fight. Thanks to everyone who reported these, and especially for the screenshots: the main bug below would have taken me a very long time to find without them.
